Discover the best places to eat and drink in Montreal

Montreal is proving once again that it is one of the world’s top culinary hotspots, and Forbes couldn’t agree more. The company recently released its list of Travel Guide Star Awards, and two Montreal restaurants made the cut.

Forbes dropped the 2023 Star Award winners, recognizing the world’s “most outstanding hotels, restaurants and spas,” which jet-setters must add to their travel bucket list.

A total of 259 restaurants make up the top international dining venues, two of which are in Montreal.

Forbes uses an objective inspection process with more than 900 criteria that its “trained inspectors,” or secret travel agents, as we like to say, use when inspecting services and facilities.

“Our global team of inspectors is anonymous at all times, so they have the same experience as the average guest,” Forbes said.

Now, we’re not talking about your average restaurant here, and you likely won’t need to book these locations far in advance, but you may want to set aside some savings for your culinary adventures, too.

So, which two famous Montreal restaurants made the list?
